Be an Allies AMBASSADOR
We know you’re out there – LGBTQIA+ (especially trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive) rowers, parents and family members of LGBTQIA+ athletes, and of course, allies. It’s up to us to counteract the disinformation and hate campaign targeting the trans community. Now is the time to show your support of racing opportunities that challenge the gender binary in rowing. Join our Allies with Oars initiative by becoming a member of our brand new Allies Ambassador program.
Since 2022, Steady State Network has raced as Allies with Oars to promote inclusion and accessibility for all rowers, regardless of gender identity. We’ve done this by pulling together competitive lineups for major regattas and in 2025 we’re inviting you to be an Allies Ambassador.
As an Ambassador, you will represent Allies with Oars at your local rowing events and may get to race with us at Masters Nationals, Head Of The Charles, or other regattas.
If you or someone you know at your boathouse is a great fit and wants to join our team, please help get the word out. The 2025 application period is now closed. Check back in Fall 2025 to be an Ambassador in 2026.
Not the right time for you to commit? We could really use your support as a donor to the Allies initiative to ensure equitable access for all our athletes.
